In fact, this year, the young “Milk and Honey” distillery won the biggest award the whiskey industry has to offer: 2023 World Whiskies Awards.

Thanks to JAFI and UJA, we will have the opportunity to explore the Israeli whiskey industry - we will taste nine different Israeli whiskies from six different distilleries.

From there we go off to our selected program rooms for a dairy meal, delicious wines, and an hour of stimulating conversations, artistic experiences, and illuminating learning opportunities. We reconvene for desserts and coffee.

After a 2 year hiautus, New York City's Premier Kiddush Club Whisky Event with fine and rare spirits from around the world is back in action!   14 years ago, Ari and Gemma White hosted their first Kosher Whisky Dinner in NYC, a fundraiser for Tikvah Children's House, a Jewish Orphanage in Odessa Ukraine.   It is only fitting that our worlds come full circle this year as we redidatcate Kiddushfest partnering with our friends at Tikvah who need our help this year more then ever before.     After 14 years of catering Kosher whisky dinners and events including the past 7 years of NYC's acclaimed Whisky Jewbilee, Ari and Gemma White are pleased to host this year's largest Kosher Whisky and Food Festival as we return to the historic Hudson Yards Synagogue.  .

Mentioned in the Bible and discussed in numerous traditional texts, cannabis has long been a part of Jewish life. For millennia, Jews have been buying, selling, and using cannabis for religious and medicinal purposes and as an intoxicant. The opening of YIVO’s latest exhibit,Am Yisrael High: The Story of Jews and Cannabis, will feature a panel discussion moderated by Eddy Portnoy, who will provide a brief overview of the relationship between Jews and cannabis. He’ll then moderate a discussion with Ed Rosenthal, Adriana Kertzer, Rabbi/Dr. Yosef Glassman, and Madison Margolin.
